My Favorite Cartoons

          Ok, so there is a little kid in all of us right? I wanted to make a page about my favorite cartoon characters. I have two favorites, Snoopy and Garfield.

          My love of Garfield started when I was a young boy. I actually used to keep a scrapbook of Garfield. There were some drawings and pictures, bookmarks, and even a piece of wrapping paper. Interesting Fact - I am two days older than Garfield. I was born on June 17, 1978 and the very first Garfield comic strip debuted on June 19, 1978.

          My Snoopy obsession started in high school. I bought a ball cap with Snoopy on it. It was a red hat with a teal peak. That hat actually became my trade mark in high school. I was the only one to have one and I became known for my snoopy hat. Because of my scouting background my affection has turned more towards Snoopy as a boy scout, or beagle scout. I have collected a few such items. Snoopy made is debut as a Beagle Scout on May 13, 1974 with the following comic strip.
