The Groom's Story ...
"I found the one my heart loves."
          --Song of Solomon 3:4
Louisa is ... passionate about the things that are important to her. She has a big heart and hates to see people (or animals) get hurt. She rescued a little dog from a shelter in Montreal who she named Bee (or Bee Bee). She can't stand to see owners who neglect their pets, particularly dogs. If someone she cares about is in trouble you count on her to do what she can to help. When I expressed frustrations with my previous job she suggested I apply for a job at her work.
Louisa has ... a thirst for knowledge. She loves learning new things. Whether it be learning how to knit or wanting to know how to lay ceramic tiles. She believes in being self-sufficient and always wants to learn new skills. She also loves doing research. When we decided to buy a house she spent countless hours on the computer looking at houses for sale comparing features, neighborhoods, and listing prices. We worked with a great real estate agent, but she made his job a lot easier by educating herself. Eventually we found a great house with everything we wanted, at a price we were comfortable paying. They say planning a wedding can be the hardest, most stressful thing you will ever do. Thanks to Louisa hard work we have been able to decide on many details with over a year before the big day! I have no doubt that the wedding will be a marvelous event, thanks to her great planning.
I count my blessings every day that I have Louisa in my life, and that she will become my Bride on May 17, 2008. When I first saw her I was struck by her beauty and was immediately attracted to her. I fell in love and knew she is the woman I was meant to spend the rest of my life with. |
